DJ Daniel Wang set up Balihu Records back in 1993 to give props to some of the rare disco tunes he loved, and as an honest alternative to the overproduced screaming diva dance tracks of the time.

The current trend for every DJ and his dog re-editing everything within earshot pays a huge debt to Wang and his "fanzine on vinyl".

Over the years these original 12"s have had trainspotters salivating in the Music & Video Exchanges and paying through the nose on ebay.

Dutch label Rush Hour has collected these tracks into a lovingly compiled CD that includes all the favourites, such as the unforgettable Like Some dream I Can't Stop Dreaming and the groovetastic Glow Worms.
