Hall & Oates - The Sound of 2010?

Unless we're on a night out at Guilty Pleasures, Hall & Oates might not always be at the forefront of our mind when listening to music in 2010. That's all set to change though with a new album of H&O covers set to be released later in the year by LA duo The Bird & The Bee.

Formed by super producer Greg Kurstin (think Lily Allen, Little Boots) and vocalist Inara George, The Bird & The Bee have created some of our favourite jazzy pop of the last couple of years with the likes of 'Come As You Are' and 'Lost Letter To Japan' being stone cold classics here at C-Burn towers. Fittingly called 'Guiltless Pleasures Volume 1: A tribute to Daryl Hall and John Oates', we can't wait to hear exactly what they do to 'Private Lies' and 'Maneater'. Plus note the Volume 1 - any suggestions for volume 2?

Here's a sneaky recording of their cover of 'I Can't Go For That'. We can't wait to hear the full thing!
