New label Clubhouse Records are set to make their first release on March 15th with a compilation of UK based Americana from some of the genre's favourite names, and freshest upcoming talent.

Clubhouse specialise in British roots and country music and clearly know their stuff, the hand picked selections on DIVIDED BY A COMMON LANGUAGE - A Collection of UK Americana Volume 1 range from the toe-tapping-tastic to the wistful and winsome, yet remain perfectly congruous.

We especially like The Cedars, the bird-like vocals on Phoenix are captivating, and Thunder River by The Epstein is a softly sung beauty... Lay Me Down (To Rest, To Sleep) by Mat Gibson & The Fallen Hearts has us itching to don a chequered shirt and a pair of steel caps and throw down some country shapes.

The UK Americana scene is fantastically vibrant, ever increasing in popularity and this eclectic collection really showcases the cream of the crop.
